Living Well – Grand Rapids is holding a blood drive in conjunction with Michigan Blood on Saturday, January 12th, from 12noon – 4pm - donate and receive a $10 Meijer Gift Card!

Any healthy person 17 or older (16 with parent/guardian permission) who weighs more than 110 pounds may be eligible to give blood every 56 days. A photo ID or two pieces of non-photo ID is required to donate.

Making sure blood is available whenever anyone needs it is the mission of Michigan Blood, the nonprofit blood bank that provides blood for dozens of hospitals across Michigan’s Lower Peninsula, including hospitals in this area. Your help is needed to help Michigan Blood make sure our hospitals have all the blood they need. Michigan Blood must collect more than 2,400 blood donations every week to provide for the hospitals that care for you and your loved ones.

Across the state, hospitals in regions that are home to more than 2 million people rely on Michigan Blood.
