MEET THE PRESENTERS!

Peter Nielsen - Peter's Principles

Peter Nielsen is more than just a fitness Guru -- he's an inspiration. Peter grew up in an Italian family, in Brooklyn. At age 15, he was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease and weighed a mere 86 pounds. Weakened by surgery and disease, discouraged by his prognosis, and overwhelmed by the usual obstacles teenagers have to face, Peter transformed his attitude toward his health, his body and especially his purpose-filled life. His triumph over a life-shattering disease propelled him to begin his dedication to health, fitness, and living with hope. Today, in addition to hosting television's Peter's Principles, Peter Nielsen is an Emmy Award winner, a champion bodybuilder, a radio/television personality, a national celebrity spokesperson for the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation, and a respected author.
