Barbara Badolati, Wellness Ambassador, Priority Health

Barbara Badolati is the wellness ambassador for Priority Health with the sole focus of promoting and encouraging individuals and companies to make healthy choices. She holds a BS in Health Education and has earned advanced certifications in Yoga-RYT500, Wholistic Nutrition, Fitness Training and Expressive Dance from the American Council on Exercise, Wellcoaches of America, Cooper Clinic for Aerobics Research, Yoga Alliance, JourneyDance and Nia.

 

Dr. Joseph Krainin, MD

Dr. Krainin, Medical Director at the Mercy Health Saint Mary’s Sleep Disorders Center, is a neurologist and board certified sleep physician. A graduate of Tufts University School of Medicine, he completed his Fellowship in sleep disorders at the University of Michigan Hospitals.

Gregory Pellizzon, MD FACC, Grand River Cardiology, Mercy Health

Dr. Pellizzon received his medical degree at Wayne State University and completed his cardiovascular and interventional training at Beaumont Hospital and Saint Luke's Mid America Heart Institute. He is currently the Director of Interventional Cardiology at Saint Mary’s Health Care. As a board certified interventional cardiologist and vascular specialist, he evaluates patients at Grand River Cardiology, offering thorough and comprehensive treatments with conservative and interventional therapies for many heart, vascular and vein conditions.

Daniel L. West M.D., FACC

Dr. West is a cardiologist at West Shore Cardiology, Mercy Health in Muskgeon. He received his B.S. from Michigan Technological University in Houghton, MI and his medical degree from Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Interventional Cardiology.

Blair R. Moreau, Director of Heart and Vascular Services at Mercy Health

Blair has 25 years of health care experiences at Mercy Health Partners. He is a graduate of Central Michigan University (1987) with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Physiology. He attended graduate school at Grand Valley State University’s School of Health Science. In 2007 he graduated from Central Michigan University with a Masters of Science in Administration. Blair is an American College of Sports Medicine Clinical Exercise Specialist, a member of the American College of Sports Medicine and American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation. Blair can be seen locally on WZZM13, energetically promoting health and wellness.

Kay Beebe, NP, Medical Weight Management Coordinator, Mercy Health

Kay Beebe has been a Registered Nurse (RN) for 30 years and coordinates the Medical Weight Management program for Mercy Health Partners in Muskegon. For the past 10 years she also has served as an adjunct professor within the Kirkof School of Nursing at Grand Valley State University.

Bryan Nadar, Sous Chef, Nutrition Services, Mercy Health

Bryan Nadar grew up in a family focused on food in both restaurants and grocery service in the Grand Rapids area, studied culinary at GRCC, and worked/managed area restaurants for 15 years. Started out at Saint Mary’s in the Lack’s kitchen, working on creating healthy, foods focused for Cancer Patients. There, Bryan helped in creating room service for all patients at Saint Mary’s, and moved into the role of Sous Chef, worked on creating a hospital garden, worked on creating healthy great tasting meals not only for patients but customers of the cafeteria, helped to bring more of a focus to seasonal cooking and eating, using local and sustainable ingredients. Bryan is working to create a long term goal of moving the hospital to a fryer free, and meeting all of the stars for the Michigan Hospital Association’s Healthy Food In HealthCare.

Mary Prefontaine - Keystone Pharmacy

Mary PreFontaine, Registered Pharmacist (RPH), Fellow, Anti-Aging and Funcrional Medicine Women's Health Specialist (FAAFM), will speak on The Seven Dwarfs of Menopause. As an Anti-Aging and Women's Health Specialist, Mary consults with patients regarding hormones and recommends medication dosages to physicians and other prescribers.

Sarah Jehnzen - Sarah's Deals

Sarah Jehnzen is the author of Sarah's Deals, a West Michigan based blog that's "Helping You Live Better, For Less" and the Coupon and Deals Expert at WOTV4Women. She posts regular sale matchups, coupons, reviews, giveaways and freebies as well as a variety of cooking tips, household hints, craft/decorating ideas, and other helpful information. Michele Fife - Seva Yoga, WOTV4 Women

Michele Fife E-RYT is owner of Seva Yoga in East Grand Rapids, MI. and Director of the Seva Yoga Teacher Training school. Trained in many Yoga disciplines, her style reflects her many years of practice and experience. Her teachings have been included in Public Schools, Medical Research studies and Youth Homes.
Michele’s growing student base now includes all of West Michigan as she is the ‘Wellness Expert’ for the ABC affiliate WOTV4. When not in studio at Seva, you might find Michele leading Yoga retreats all over the world as she has taught in Italy, Bali, Costa Rica and has an upcoming retreat in St. Lucia.
