Swampmaster's Live Alligator Show

This is a must see attraction for people of all ages!  Master alligator educator Jeff Quattrocchi will be on hand to educate and inform show goers about these amazing prehistoric creatures.

Hawg Tank

This 50 ft. long aquarium on wheels is both educational and entertaining.  Watch as expert bass anglers entice live smallmouth bass to strike their lures.  The Tank is loaded with live fish and provides the ultimate seminar experience.  Fun for the whole family!

Shore Lunch Fish Fry

The cafe at the Lansing Center will be the site of the 13th Annual Fish Fry at the Boat & Fishing Show.  A basket of walleye fillets in a special breading mix will be served up with fries and slaw at a "family price" throughout the show.

Antique & Classic Fishing Tackle Display

According to the members of the Michigan Lure Collectors Club, antique tackle retains all the allure of exciting fishing trips of days gone by.  Club member Terry McBurney will set up this display along with several other experts.  Bring in your old tackle and outdoor equipment for free appraisals.  You may have a fortune rusting away in that old tackle box!

Virtual Fishing Simulator

Presented by the Michigan Charter Boat Association

Take the trolling rod in hand, watch the video screen and get ready!  Michigan charter captains are on hand to coach your fish playing techniques.  Top scores win fishing trips!  All proceeds benefit the MCBA's scholarship fund.

Trout Pond

Challenging anglers of all ages!  Even if you come just to watch you will see the highest catch precentage of any trout pond you have ever seen.  Manned by members of the Lansing Chapter of Trout Unlimited.

Rock Climbing Wall

Participants may climb this wall utilizing the state-of-the-art hydraulic billet system.  Test your skills with the ultimate in safety.  This feature, which charges a nominal fee, is a long time favorite of families.

Casting Kids Competition

Presented by the Michigan B.A.S.S. Federated Club

Seasoned tournament anglers are on hand not only to run the contest, but to instruct and coach the participants with their casting skills.  Spinning, spin-casting and casting styles are included.  Weekend competitions are open to all children throughout the show.  It's FREE with admission.  Bring you own rod and reel or use one of several provided by the club.
